Product overview

Sell the physical servers in your own facility through WISECP. Orders, stock, IP assignment and power control in one module.

TreDedicated is a server module developed for companies that sell physical servers from their own data center through WISECP. Each server in stock is kept as a separate unit, and a free unit is reserved for the customer when an order arrives.

When an order is approved, the module reserves a free server, assigns an IPv4 address through TreIP and powers the device on if its management card responds. The hostname entered by the customer and the requested operating system are added to the staff queue as a job. The operating system is installed by your staff and marked as done in the queue. The module does not perform automatic PXE or ISO installations.

Power control runs through the server's own management card. iDRAC, iLO, XCC, Redfish and IPMI are supported. If the card does not respond, the power action is passed to the staff queue.

On the service page, customers see the hardware summary, power status and IP address. They can power the server on and off and restart it. They can request additional IPv4 addresses up to the quota you set on the product and edit their own reverse DNS records. Rescue and reinstall requests are forwarded to the staff queue. The management card's address and password are never shown to the customer.

In the admin panel you define server types (SKUs) and the units in stock. The diagnostic check shows whether a unit's management card can be reached. New orders use diagnosed units first. An SKU that runs out of stock can be hidden from sale automatically. When a service is suspended, the server is powered off. When a service is cancelled, the server is powered off, the IP address is returned and the unit is moved to maintenance. A unit is returned to stock in a single step once maintenance is complete.

IP addresses are assigned through TreIP. The product needs an IPv4 rule and a block with free addresses. If no suitable address is available, the server is not delivered and the reserved unit returns to stock. If TreDNS is installed, reverse DNS records are written to TreDNS. When used with TreDCIM, servers are linked to their rack and device records.

Please note before purchasing: the admin and client screens are currently in Turkish.

The license is issued by TreCloud and assigned to your domain. It is checked only on admin pages, and client pages do not connect to the license server. Updates are published through the WISECP marketplace.
