Product overview
WISECP module that builds VDS/VPS servers from your vCenter templates. Customers manage their server in WISECP, never in vCenter.
TreHypervisor connects VMware vCenter to WISECP. We use it ourselves at trecloud.com.tr to run our VDS customers.
You add your vCenter to WISECP once. When a customer pays, the server is cloned from a template, CPU, memory and disk are set to the package, an IP is assigned, the password is written and the machine is powered on. You don't have to do anything.
Customers manage their server from the service page in WISECP. They can power it on and off, open a Linux console in the browser (Windows users get a remote desktop file), change the password and SSH key, and reinstall a different OS while keeping the same IP. They can take and restore snapshots, attach a rescue ISO and set their own reverse DNS. CPU, memory and traffic graphs are on the same page.
On the admin side you can connect more than one vCenter. Hosts are grouped into pools and new orders land on the least busy host, with oversell if you want it. IPs are added in blocks and one address is never given to two customers. You pull your templates from vCenter and put them on sale. You can also download ready-made templates such as Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux and Windows from our catalog straight into vCenter, and every downloaded file is checked against its checksum. There are separate pages for vCenter alarms, machines not linked to a service, live migration and host maintenance.
Extra CPU, memory, disk, SSD/HDD, IPs, traffic, port speed, network cards, private network and automatic backups can be sold as add-ons. A button on the Summary page creates them for you, you only enter the prices. When a customer buys one, it is added to the server right away.
You can set a monthly traffic quota and decide what happens when it runs out: just a warning, a slower port, or shutting the server down. It resets at the start of the month. Cancelled servers can be kept for a few days before they are deleted.
The setup scripts that run inside the server come with the package, and you can open and read them for each template in the panel. The module never changes its own files remotely; updates come through the WISECP marketplace.
New orders, upgrades, add-ons, reinstalls and the catalog need a TreCloud license. If the license runs out, running servers are left alone and your customers can still use power, console, password and IP tools.
One thing to know before you buy: the admin pages and the client screens are in Turkish for now. Product, add-on and setting labels are in English.
