Product overview
WISECP module that sells DNS zones. Works with PowerDNS, BIND, cPanel and cloud DNS providers; customers manage records on the service page.
TreDNS is a server module that lets you sell DNS zones as a separate product in WISECP. When a customer orders, the zone is created on the DNS server you picked, and the customer manages the records from the service page in WISECP.
The module works with 28 drivers: PowerDNS, BIND and other RFC 2136 servers, cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin, ISPConfig, Virtualmin, Technitium, WISECP registrar modules, and providers such as Cloudflare, AWS Route 53, Google Cloud DNS, Azure DNS, OVHcloud, Hetzner and DigitalOcean. You add a server from the module's own window, and the connection is tested before it is saved.
Besides A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV and CAA, customers can write TLSA, SSHFP, HTTPS, SVCB, NAPTR, DNAME and ALIAS records. Records for services such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Shopify are set up with one click. Every change goes into the history and can be undone. Backups, BIND file import and export, a DNS health report and a propagation check are on the same page. On the "My DNS zones" page customers add records or change an IP across all their zones at once, and give their sub-accounts read, record or zone rights.
On the admin side, packages set zone, record and reverse DNS limits, record types and the number of backups; a package is linked to a product, a domain extension or an add-on. Record templates are filled with WISECP variables. On PowerDNS you get a secondary server cluster, DNSSEC (the DS record is sent to the registrar), answers by country and weighted answers, failover and query statistics. Reverse DNS is written automatically for the IP addresses that virtualization modules assign. Resellers can publish their zones under their own branded name servers.
Zones on Cloudflare, cPanel, PowerDNS (including WISECP WDNS) and servers that allow AXFR are moved in one go. Zones are checked regularly; a new problem or a DS mismatch is mailed to staff, and to the customer too if you want. When you move a server, the TTL goes down in advance and the new address is written on time. A deleted zone waits in the trash for the number of days you choose. A dynamic DNS endpoint for routers and ddclient, and a Let's Encrypt DNS-01 endpoint for acme.sh and certbot, come with the package.
Licenses come from TreCloud. If the license runs out, existing zones keep working and customers still manage their records on the service page; the admin page, the "My DNS zones" page and the dynamic DNS endpoint need a license. The module never changes its own files remotely; updates come through the WISECP marketplace.
The screens are in Turkish and English; in any other panel language they show in English.
